Dhool 2008 auditions - a great success!
Hello to all dance groups, supporters and Dhool viewers!
As most of you already know, we held our Dhool auditions last Saturday, 5 July at St James Power Station's Powerhouse. The atmosphere and energy was exciting and very tense with a crowd of almost 400 people made up of dance groups and their supporters!
The competition was a lot more tough this year with higher expectations from our viewers and our critics, as Dhool is already in its third TV season. Although some groups did not make it into the competition due the stringent judging process, we wish them all the best for their other competitions and performances.
The auditions will be featured in the first episode of Dhool on 27 July 2008.
Without further ado, these are the teams that were selected for the competition:

As for the viewers, we will not leave you out. You have a say in deciding who makes it to the finals and gets closer to the $15,000 cash prize. So do tune in to Dhool to support your favourite teams!

It's great to see the dancers in action.is it possible to download the dancers remix songs to the handphone.all the best to the dancers expecially agni reloaded.thanks and regards.
The "Dhool 2008" gets heated up.
Judges were doing a great job with right points and selections.
Participants should produce more creativity and innovative dance styles with their teams and not just to appear in the TV shows. It’s not a place to practice and try their luck. Participants got to be really serious about it before entering a great show.
Moreover, the 'sms' votes really spoiled the results. There should never again allow multiple voting system. It only produces revenue for their services. It’s just like buying votes, which is totally unfair to the deserved ones.

I seriously think the judges are not mindful of their positions in the show.
After they have chosen their winners, and once the results are announced, if the overall decision doesnt favour their choice due to overpowering sms voting, they should not raise the issue.
By them saying, "this was not our decision" or by saying "this is unacceptable and shocking" it only demotivates the group that has gotten through.
If they don think the sms votings favour their decions, why have that system even?
Other than that, its a great show and definitely attracts lots of audiences.
