I think you guys are trying to do a good job but you know, the voting thingy by public is like making decisions which are not practical into reality. Firstly you should get good qualified judges who have a background in dancing. Are you telling me we dont have any guy who has got talents in dancing to be the judge for this show in singapore? think about it? the judge looks like he is one of the contestants from one of the groups. He is in the millenium years. he Should really relook into his dress sense. Anyway i feel that some good groups were left our becos of the voting thingy. This is disheartening. Lets not make worth dancers be disappointed. Already we hardly have any tamil variety programmes on tv. The one that is shown now has so much of problems in it. Not very encouraging for the indian community. Take out the sms voting. keep it on the finals. then i guess it will make more sense. And why was this group out of the compeition? Reasons would create less confusion...
Total disappointment for Chakraz and now even clearer Apsara Asia. The 2 well deserve group out in quater final? How fair is this? Why didnt you guys make the sms vote on finals? Now you see the consequences. We feel that the show is concern on making money out of the sms vote prior to talent being wasted just infront of our eyes. We dont even know the SMS ranking! and how many percent? 3 weeks the hosts never explain anything about it. Dhool management seriously have to do something about this. We expect wad is the ranking and how many percent each group got. That is the fair thing to do.
I think "raj" is right about the judge and the sms voting. Every time people talk about dhool, the very first question they ask is "why is HE the judge"? Well, that's something that I am unable to answer too. Since young, I’ve compared him to a certain superstar’s way of dancing (we know how that is). Moreover, I feel that every comment given by that specific judge is pretty much copied by Ms Sri Devi. Aside from that, another thing I would like to point out is, since u have already implemented the sms voting system (which is redundant), the least the judges could do is be somewhat supportive of the results. Instead all I saw yesterday was the sullen faces of judges. Even the other groups who did not get in, looked happier than our judges. Apsara Asia was good. However they did not get in and we only have the sms system to blame. From the beginning, viewers are told to support their favourite group. When we do that, it is considered wrong? We weren’t told to vote for “tharamaana groups”. We were asked time and again to vote for our FAVOURITE groups. Come on, cut the killabeez boys some slack too. I am not particularly supporting any group but what I feel is the judges could have been a little nicer and said something nice to this group instead of being so harsh at the end of the show (when the results were out). We all like the way Ms Sri Devi gives her comments during the show (after each dance). Very positive yet pointing out the mistakes very accurately. However, the other 2 judges seem to be stuck to giving negative comments.
This is the official blog of dhool2008. Maybe more could be done to make it a more interactive place between the audience, the groups and the organisers. Thank you.

Hey guys, frankly speaking, it is really sad to see our Indian community in such a sorry state. Wake up, you guys! It's just a competition, why is everyone getting so worked up? There are more important things in life. Why is everyone bent on condemning everyone else? We are all Indians and we should support our youths. what is the point in being so politically divided in a simple dance show? It is very embarrassing for me, as an Indian in Singapore, to see our people fighting over something as stupid as this. Get real, after winning DHOOL, what are you promised, a recording or dancing contract? The DHOOL crown is not going to feed you for life. Not everyone can use dance to earn a living in Singapore. I think you would be better off doing sports and bringing home the gold medal from the Olympics! Then the whole of Singapore will congratulate you.
This crown is NOTHING, it is just a way for the producers and media to create publicity for the show. Do you guys know what a reality show is? This is exactly it! All the stunts and dramas and last minute changes are meant to raise the rankings of the show. The producer and sponsors have already decided who the winner is, dont waste your valuable money on sms, unless you have 500 free SMS with your subscription! Use the money for a more deserving cause, for helping people who really desrve it. And, to the producers, please do not use the judges as your spokespeople! It was so clear that VJ was READING FROM A PREPARED SCRIPT! Dont treat us like FOOLS!

Yes, the above comment was from unbiased. Really true. Taking Chakraz or Apsara Asia was clearly a publicity stunt showing that it's not necessary that popular grps wil be selected, but, trust me, they wil be in the Ungal Choiceand gon all the way 2 the finals. Apsara Asia is Mrs Kavitha Krishnan's group. The student of Neela Sathialingam of PA. Chakraz is not the junior grp of Zangeshtraz but they are Zangeshtraz themselves. Then this week Ryan Spensers Revo is coached by Ramesh from Rameshwara. The dancers in Aarthiz who replaced DEVANAS, dancing this week has also been dancing as Rameshwara girl dancers for the past three weeks in Dhool as guest dancers. How is all these allowed to happen? I think its due time the press or Mediacorp or MDA knows about this. The show videos are all proofs. Definitely Aarthiz is definitely no par with Devanas. On what grounds were they chosen??? Were they the best of the 50-50 groups??? Were the judges who were in the auditions asked before they selected Aarthiz? Nobody knows what is happening and i think its time ppl knew. Megastar, pls do not degrade an indian show value by all these crap. So this week, it's gonna be 2 rameshly choroegraphed groups taking on Mera Naam Jokers, Synchronix and Anarchy (or rather a grp having Movesh Satis) and they call this a competition being unbiased. Bull****. One more thing, no one stil knows y Borderz performed for S W A T last week? they were not even in the 50-50 groups. How fair is this to all the other 50-50 grps???... Can someone answer???

1ST QUARTERS-
Tridiac- A group who won 4th prize last Dhool. Comprising of 2nd prize winners Acid Houz dancers and Tridiac dancers and movesh(Mediacorp dancers), they participated this year. How come this was allowed??? Is ther a chance for top three prize winners in Vasantham Star 2 come back again n perform??? People might spit at them. Or does this ever happens in other language shows??? NEVER. This only happens in Indian shows.
Version 2.8- Another group having participated as Ngee Ann Poly to Insane Immortals to this name now. They were not that lucky last Dhool. Was this the reason they qualified to the semis this season???... The judges said the dance was different... In wat aspect???... Just because they used the cloth n wrapped around it and did the judges miss the 2 or 3 guys not knowing their steps n staring???...
2ND QUARTERS-
Kali Dancers- Another finalist group from last Dhool and a group who performed in Mediacorp shows from Eaglevision's to Megastar's. The judges asked for something different but was was different of Kali's that they were picked. Just coz they had the energy???... Of course they wld have the energy coz this is the type of dance they always produce without a SINGLE difference. Costumes so alike Agni Reloaded, they called that new?... Were the judges really watching the back-up gals gasping for breath n losing energy n forgetting steps???... In 1 way, Soviets or 4 dee crew were more unique n new n given a chance, they wld have done better in the semis...
Agni Reloaded- Another team from last year's Dhool, the unluckier one that time. They were better this year no doubt but the judge who said they missed beats n went off at parts allowed them to go thru. Where was justice for the other groups here who were more in beat n synchronized??? Costumes were good but what was the connection to the song??? Doing classical steps there? That was atrocious. Ms Sridevi and Mrs Lavanya having great classical background never noticed them??? Or were they given a chance this time??? So why wasn't Soviets???
3RD QUARTERS-
Killerbeez- A new group this time but with the influence of Extranesha. Did not perform to expectations and was pointed out by judges but they still managed to scrape thru. Was that supposed to mean that they were so close in the points from the judges that sms separated them? How can they have been close in judges points wen the judges actually condemned them? Or was that also publicity stunt?
Aerocrats-
Haiz... Another teams combined of what was known as Stepz and Acid Houz in last Dhool... Yes they were entirely different, maybe the most bold n unique performance so far, but yet again, it was a copied style from a production. Where was the originality???... People were quick to notice that but y not were the judges???... So are we gonna expect them 2 do this throughout Dhool and grab the crown??? Win on another person's originality and effort???...
On the whole these are the happenings for the past 3 weeks???... I bet this week is no different either... Last but least, why is everyone condemning Mr L Vijendran???... Just coz he is the person with the least knowledge of dance there???... That might be the case but pls give him due respect for his experience and u do not know what is happening at the backstage when they argue abt the final results so ppl, pls do not presume. Why not TEKAN Ms Sridevi or Mrs Lavanya???... Just coz they are trained well in dance??? Was that why they failed 2 notice something i did as a plain audience???

i reali tink wateva comments given so far shld be put on the tinkin caps of organisers.
i m nt supportin any grps ..i tink the reaction after the 3rd semi finals frm the judges were unaccpetable.. if they were to depend on judges votin than juz shut down the sms votin ting.. moreover since its 50 50 ting.. than i tink the judges shld have said their decision in a nicer way .. they were like as if they had been asked to put thru the other grp instaed of a grp choosen. they way they said it also looked like they were askin the organisers to put thru the grp they choose instead of the grp which was supposed to be in , choosen by judges + voting.
abt judges, wateva personnal comment they have , pls say it in a nicer way ! n y are leaders from dance groups in vasantham central , not being the judges.. like rameshwara given a chance..
lastly, i Anonymous (19 aug) commented abt almost all the grp except apsaras asia.. in that grp onli 1 of them is indian..the leader said that ' though the others are non indian . they have the interests in dance ' HELLO ! if that's the case than i tink in the application form there should have been a rule'' sayin open to non indians too.. n after that i tink this show can be aired as dancefloor 2 in channel 5. n the leader is also a dancer frm vasantham central, danced for attam 100 vagai.. since the organisers said this show is for indians to show their talent... i tink dancers frm vasantham central shld show their talent in their guest dance shows. than to form a separate grp n perform n not allow NEW dancers to be formed.

For your kind info Judges 70% sms 30%. So NOW CAN YOU GET IT WHY JUDGES ARE UPSET. How could a 30% overthrow a 70%?? Not only for this week but the first week too happen the same scenario. and OMG RAMESH BEING A JUDGE???????!!!!!! like "HELLLO" DO U KNOW THAT HALF OF HIS GRPS ARE DANCING IN DHOOL? So get your facts right before you go and suggest this kind of thing. I believe that in every competition you shouldnt put ramesh as the judge cause he have so many groups under him. I can give an clear example. 2nd Quarter Final Ramesh was wearing Agni Reloaded Shirt and was supporting them. He was the judge for Danz Arena. So guys who won danz arena???? 3 weeks Aarthiz have been dancing as Rameshwara girls. Now they are in the competition how fair could that be?? RSR needless to say. The costumes shows you full fledged and if you know the dancers and have seen their pictures. They are Rameshwara dancers. Plus who got 3rd in Danz Arena. So Please!! Nowadays so many groups dance for him. This includes diversity have good connection with Ramesh. SO!!! Don't ever say Ramesh makes a good judge. If he becomes the judge things will get topsy turvy. The problems will get even Bigger and about UNFAIRNESS. He himself can overthrow the voting system cause he chooses the group he likes :) I hope this things have brought you to light. Don just anyhow suggest. Ramesh as a judge is a big NO NO!

but let me tell you,i had a opportunity to meet L VIJAYADRAN after the show at the reception area.
I asked him many of ya questions which was on my mind too and specifically i asked "WHY MUST YOU GIVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS?"
He replied,"BY NATURE I AM A STRAIGHT FORWARD SPEAKING MAN.WHY MUST I HURT THE COMPETITORS FEELINGS WHEN THEY ARE IN THE MOOD OF A GOOD COMPETITION.IT IS NOT MY INTENTION.BUT,MY JOB ENTAILS ME TO SAY THE TRUTH FOR GRPS WHO CAME IN JUS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARTICIPATING."

I feel tht e hostrez talks unnecessarily and making a fool out of herself. the jokes cracked by Vadi is acceptable and funny however, i think it should be kept low. the dancers are amazing esp. AEROCRATS! It will be wise for audience to vote for talented dancers and not for popularity limelight.
