Dhool 2008 4th QF Results
Hi viewers and Dhool fans.
We are happy to announce the results of the 4th Quarter Finals, which got telecasted last Sunday. (24th August 2008).
The groups which qualified to the Semi-Finals were:
1) Ryyan Spenser Revolution
2) Mera Naam Joker
We have also announced the groups who will be taking part in the 'Ungal Choice' Round in yesterday's programme.
Details will be on the next post.

I hate the two female judges.They are jus acting infront of ppl.I went for the show and i kept seeing them toking to each other while they dancers were performing.WHAT IS THIS???
I hope MEGASTAR would look into this.I think they are discussing what to similar stuff to say later.
Lavnea should really look out for her english.Whats up with that?Cant she tok tamil?
Sri Devi is jus a two headed snake.She toks something on screen and toks something at the back.She jus wants a good impression from others.I hate her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admire the 4th QF round dance performe by RSR "Ryyan spencers Revolution" they costume and coreograph was exellant...Hope they gals are do much better in semi..Wish all the best and Good luck to u gals...RSR Rox!!!
Udaya is getting impressive. Never liked her for some reason...but now she is doing okay.

nonetheless.. i think mr vijaydran was good this time round... cause he seemed more professional in this round.
even his negative remarks sounded pleasant and didnt go like "hey u dont deserve to dance" and stuff like that.. thats the way la vijay.. haha
no comments bout the other ladies..
the groups were all awesome though... was surprised with jokerz performance cause i realii thought they were another group void deck dancers but u guys put up a awesome performance... respect.. well done...

I think voting shd only start after the dance performances & perhaps the dancers can ask for votes after they danced. Viewers can better judge the dances after they perform vs blindly votting for pp they like / know. Of course this is something we can avoid totally but at least the "general public" can vote fairly.
Secondly, judging a show like this is a very subjective matter. Everyone has the right to express their own opinion and i don't think it's fair to "attack" the judges for speaking up their mind. It's impossible to please everyone.. in any competition there's always a winner and there's always a loser. AND the loser may not be a loser after all as it takes a lot of courage and effort to be up there in the first place.

I feel the voting system concept should be fine-tuned. Instead of allowing the public/fans to vote b4 they view the teams' performances as well as when other teams are still performing, the voting should only be allowed after all the teams complete their performances, similar to American Idol. That way all teams will have an equal opportunity while the public can vote based on the teams' performances as well as on their popularity.
To promote transparency within the judging system, the judges should show announce/show their ranking of the teams based on their assessment openly, following which the sms voting ranking of the teams should be revealed and finally the tallying and determination of the qualifying teams be announced. This way noone will falsely accuse anyone of being biased and hopefully all fans will be satisfied with this level of transparency.
Finally, instead of just providing a piece of music (international flavor) to the teams to perform, the judges/organizers could get a choreographer to teach all the teams a specific dance routine (a short 1 minute routine) before hand and following that the teams will perform that routine during the 1 minute segment. Each week there should be a different choreographer and hence the dance routine will also be changed. This will enable the judges to assess the skill, ability and acceptance level to learn new steps of each team.
This is just my views on what can be done to make Dhool 2008, a show that contains substance, transparency and the ability to develop and nurture more dance techniques to the participants. Hope the organizers will look into these suggestions.

i think everyone shld turn and watch out for the two ladies.i heard they are up to no good.

the previous seasons of dhool was better then tis i could say.. dancers r improving ya, but they've got an attitude .. judges r there to judge..so watever comment they give is good.. for exmaple, killabeez... wad the hell they did??? they have got no standard at all. i 100% agree to wad lavanya shree devi n vijay said... they came in juz becoz of voting...but actually they've got no class.... good luck to em in semi finals... apsaraz was much much better then them.. so plz public, dun fire the judges.. they r being frank n encouraging..
So far, on the whole, there is some standards in the dance groups who have qualified! But, there are no standards in some of the judges! Where have been the previous TCS dance group leaders???? For example, established groups like theestainers, bhairava or even, the Kalyshaytras......These groups have so much experienced and talented dancers, who have the quality to be the judge!!!! For all i can say, the show and even, the production team are so BIASED!
How many times are we gonna see the same dances??
wat is wrong if "TCS" dancers dance for the competition???? i dun get it why you ppl got so much to comment... i guess you ppl must be very free.. if the judges gives comment tat is good bcoz tat is how the daners were improve for the next round and future competitions... I feel tat we indian must stop all this and take it in a beta way...
tis round the grp who have got in did a wonderful job.. mera naam joker did very well... love the song and the dance... RSR simply fanstastic... costume was great and dance was outstanding...
I agreee with V! i din't like her to..coz she was abit ova exagerating...however, now she n VADI(the PRO) are rocking the stage! and VADI keep up with the song that has the msg behind!! Its rocking!! :D
vadi is really rocking the stage, hats off to him but as for udaya, i just find her a bit too loud. why arent the other girl participants of vasantham star given a chance? rekha even went to the finals. or even miss vasantham indra would have been a better choice. as for the dance groups......................?!!!
AEROCRATZ rocked the stage today.Awesome performance.They stole the heart of the audience. They were the limelight indeed!Great Job & best wishes Guyz....
"Aerocratz" has talent.They stole everyone's heart by their splendid performance.They were really,really superp.They deserve to be the winner.My vote is for them.
